LOOKING BACK

A few cried off the quiz night, but we had a few new members who made up the numbers and we had a full house. Various people had produced quizzes, dealing with subjects such as MG, Food, F1, Car badges and Geography, and the quizmasters John and Gloria kept us on time and in order. Believe it or not the lowest score quiz was about MG, out of 10 answers the highest score was 3 which was quite shameful! The overall winner of the evening was Chris but even he didn’t manage to score more than half the marks for the whole evening. Having said that everyone enjoyed the challenge.

CLASSICS AT THE COLLEGE

If you are thinking of entering this event on Saturday 30th May, make sure you register before 17th April at the discount price of £10 otherwise you will have to pay £15. (www.hopehouse.org.uk/events)

The club has now acquired insurance cover from Hiscox Insurance which provides cover for members of the British Historical Vehicle Clubs. The annual cost is £129.50 which has been paid from the current balance in the club’s Bank Account.
